Artist's Comments: "This piece was done for the owner of a manufacturing company. In his early years, he had raced motocross, won trophies, but didn't really have many images of those glory days. As a matter of fact, the only picture he had was from on of those tiny slides that some vender takes and puts in one of those little plastic keychain viewers. The client had pried it out and had a fuzzy 8 x 10 print made, but it wasn't all that great of quality. He had me use it as reference.
"My challenge was to convert that into something that conveyed motion and excitement. I enhanced all the color, illustrated movement, and glued sand on the lower one third of the painting. The client loved it!"
